Bruxism & jaw clenching

You clench or grind your teeth, and your jaw is tight when you wake.

What it is

By partly relaxing the masseter muscle, we can ease the clenching and the tension. Over time that muscle can slim, softening a square lower face. It helps the symptoms, it doesn’t replace your dentist.

  • Relaxes the masseter muscle
  • May slim the lower face
  • A temporary effect

How we treat it

We choose the best-suited approach with you at consultation. Here are the treatments we use for this condition.

Not Health Canada approved for this use (by prescription). It may help symptoms; it does not “cure” bruxism or replace dental follow-up. Results vary.

Shall we look at it together?

We look at your skin and tell you honestly what helps and what we’d skip. No pressure to book anything.
