FAQ

Before your first visit

Fillers are used to restore volume, soften certain folds or harmonize features, for example in the lips, cheeks or nasolabial folds. It is a medical act planned after assessing your face.

Discomfort is generally moderate: most products contain an anesthetic, and cold or a numbing cream can be used. You mainly feel pressure during the injection.

An effect is often visible right away, but initial swelling can mask the final result. It is best judged after about 1 to 2 weeks, once the tissues have settled. Results vary.

Depending on the product, treated area and your metabolism, the effect often lasts 6 to 18 months. It then gradually fades, and duration varies from one person to another.

You usually resume activities the same day. Swelling, redness, tenderness or small bruises are possible and generally settle within a few days; the lips in particular may swell more at first.

Hyaluronic acid fillers can, in most cases, be dissolved with an enzyme if needed. Our medical team reviews this option with you when necessary.

The most common are temporary: swelling, redness, bruising or tenderness. Rarer complications exist, such as nodules or, exceptionally, a vascular issue; this is why the treatment must be performed by a qualified professional able to prevent and manage them.

Many goals are achieved in a single session, sometimes with a touch-up to refine the result. The amount of product and the schedule are set during the medical assessment.

The treatment is usually not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active infection in the area, or with certain medical conditions and allergies. The prior medical assessment confirms this.

Yes, it is a medical act performed by our team after an assessment. The treatment starts at $595, taxes extra, with the final cost depending on the amount of product needed, determined at the consultation.
