How it unfolds

Your journey

  1. We look at the whole face

You arrive with one area in mind. We look at the whole, because what bothers you at the bottom often comes from what shrank at the top. You leave with the number of millilitres, the places and the amount: not an estimate that grows along the way.

  2. Support before anything

The jaw, the chin, the temples: that is what holds the rest. Our nurse counts $550 per millilitre along the jaw, and it takes two at minimum for a line to appear. One does not show, so we will not sell you one.

  3. The rest, after

The folds, the hollow under the eye, the lips: we get there once the frame is in place, and it often takes less than we thought at the start. Packages run from 1 to 7 ml, and the more there is, the less each millilitre costs.

  4. We see you again in two weeks

The swelling is gone and the product has settled: that is when we judge, not the same evening in front of your mirror. If something is missing, we add it then. After that, we see you in 9 to 12 months.

FAQ

What we get asked most

It is a medical act in which dermal fillers are placed along the jaw to refine its line and balance. The treatment plan is personalized after assessing your proportions and goals.

Most fillers contain an anesthetic, which reduces discomfort. Our medical team can also apply cold or a numbing cream; you mainly feel pressure during the injection.

A difference is often visible right after the session, but some swelling is normal at first. The result is best judged once the swelling settles, usually after 1 to 2 weeks. Results vary.

Depending on the product, the area and your metabolism, the effect often lasts 12 to 18 months before gradually fading. Duration varies from one person to another.

Many people reach their goal in one session, but a touch-up may be suggested to refine it. The amount of product and number of appointments are decided during the medical assessment.

You can usually resume your activities the same day. Swelling, tenderness or small bruises along the jaw are possible and generally settle within a few days to one or two weeks.

When a hyaluronic acid filler is used, it can, in most cases, be dissolved with an enzyme if needed. This option is assessed and discussed by our medical team.

The most common are temporary: swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising. Rarer complications exist, such as a lump needing correction or, exceptionally, a vascular issue; this is why the treatment must be done by a qualified professional trained to prevent and manage them.

The treatment is usually not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active infection in the area, or with certain medical conditions and allergies. The prior medical assessment confirms this.

The product is $550 per millilitre, taxes extra. Drawing a jawline takes at least 2 ml, so $1,100; in most cases we place 2 ml on each side, that is 4 ml and $2,200. The exact amount is set at your consultation, based on your proportions.

The next step: we look at your whole face.

Our nurse tells you how many millilitres, where, and in what order. You leave with the amount. Nothing is placed that day if you are not sure.
