The consultation, free of charge
We look at your skin and your hair before selling you anything. The laser targets the pigment in the hair: on white, grey or very light blond hair it does nothing, and we tell you then rather than at the third session.
Three sessions, 4 to 6 weeks apart
Five to ten minutes each time, with the Clarity II, the same dual-wavelength laser we use everywhere else. We wait four to six weeks between sessions, the time the hair needs to re-enter the phase where the laser reaches it. Any sooner and we are firing for nothing.
What we will not promise you
That it is permanent. The laser gives durable reduction: far fewer hairs, finer and lighter, and long months between appointments. Getting all the way there often takes six to eight sessions in total. The program takes you to the point where you can judge for yourself, and we decide together what comes next.
What makes up DC-Silk
One area, or all of them?
DC-Silk covers the upper lip and is paid once. If you are already thinking about two or three areas, the Unlimited Zones plan at $497 a month works out cheaper very quickly. We will tell you so at the consultation.
