The program

How it works

A hair-restoration program designed for women at the first signs of thinning. It runs a series of PRP sessions, drawn from your own blood, to stimulate follicles that are still active.

Targets follicles that are still active

A series-based PRP program

Designed for density in women

What’s included
  • Scalp assessment before starting
  • Three sessions 3 to 4 weeks apart, one of them with exosomes
  • Exosome-enriched version available (DC Bloom Exo)
  • Maintenance sessions planned around your response
Who it’s for

For women noticing less density or a widening part.

Results vary and appear gradually over several months. No result is guaranteed, and periodic maintenance is often needed.

How it unfolds

Your DC Bloom path, step by step

DC Bloom is a series of PRP sessions spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart, framed by a check-up up front and follow-up throughout. Since the cause matters, we rule it out before treating.

  1. Step 1

    Check-up and cause ruled out

We examine your scalp and rule out a cause like low iron or a thyroid issue, which gets corrected.

  2. Step 2

Two PRP sessions, then one with exosomes

PRP drawn from your blood, 3 to 4 weeks apart. The third session adds exosomes to amplify the signal sent to the follicle.

  3. Step 3

    Exosome-enriched version

If you want to go further, DC Bloom Exo adds exosomes at every session.

  4. Step 4

    Upkeep

We plan maintenance sessions around your response, to hold the gain you’ve made.

Follow-up is with you from start to finish. Results appear gradually, over several months, and vary from person to person.

Is it for you?

This program, for you or not

This program is for you if

  • You notice diffuse thinning or a widening part, at an early to moderate stage
  • A medical cause like low iron or the thyroid has been ruled out or is being managed
  • You’d rather rely on your own follicles than a lifelong medication

This program isn’t for you if

  • Your zones have been bald for a long time, with no active follicle
  • You’re after a guaranteed or immediate result
  • Your blood isn’t suited to PRP, which we check at the assessment

We never promise a result: PRP evidence is fair but variable. At the assessment we tell you honestly whether it’s for you, even if that means pointing you elsewhere.

The technology

PRP

Your own plasma, spun on site. Nothing foreign goes in.

A blood sample is drawn and spun to concentrate platelets. This growth-factor-rich plasma is reinjected into the scalp under a sterile medical protocol.

  • 100% autologous (your own blood)
  • Rich in growth factors
  • Sterile medical protocol

Where you stand

The Ludwig scale, the women’s equivalent.

In women, hair loss rarely follows the male pattern: the hairline stays, and it is the part that widens. The Ludwig scale describes those three stages.

Stage IThe part opens slightly. You notice it mostly in bright light or in a photo.
Stage IIThe part widens clearly and the ponytail feels thinner.
Stage IIIDensity drops across the top, and the scalp shows through.

In women, a cause can often be corrected: low iron, thyroid, a hormonal shift, post-partum. That is why we start with a check-up before treating, rather than the other way around. At stages I and II the follicle still responds well. At stage III, we are straight with you about what remains possible.

To go further

Add exosomes to your program.

  • Exosomes added at every one of your sessions
  • Delivered by micro-injections into the scalp, like the PRP
  • Growth factors on top of those from your own blood

We use Vtech exosomes. It is a recent approach: the data is encouraging, but limited. At your consultation we will tell you honestly whether it is worth it in your case.

FAQ

Before your session

We draw a small amount of your blood, spin it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelet-rich plasma, then reinject it into the scalp. These growth factors aim to stimulate the follicles and support hair density. The treatment is a medical procedure performed by our medical team after an evaluation.

Yes, PRP is 100% autologous: the plasma comes only from your own blood, drawn and reinjected the same day. Nothing foreign is added, which rules out the risk of a reaction to an external product.

Most people feel mild discomfort during the injections, often described as small pinpricks. We can apply a local numbing agent or cold to improve your comfort. Sensitivity varies from one person to another.

We generally recommend an initial series of 3 to 4 sessions to kick-start the follicular response, but the exact plan is set during your consultation based on your situation. Every plan is personalized after a medical evaluation.

The initial sessions are usually spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Afterward, maintenance sessions may be suggested every few months to support results. The schedule is adjusted to how you respond to treatment.

The first changes, such as reduced shedding and denser texture, often appear after a few months, as the follicles respond. Results vary depending on the person and the degree of hair loss. No result can be guaranteed.

PRP does not stop the underlying cause of hair loss, so maintenance sessions are generally needed to keep the benefits over time. Duration varies from one person to another. We discuss this based on your progress.

Downtime is minimal: you can usually return to your activities the same day. Redness, tenderness or slight swelling of the scalp are possible for a day or two. As with any needle procedure, a small bruise can occur.

PRP is not indicated during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with certain blood or clotting disorders, an active scalp infection, or certain medical conditions. The prior medical consultation is precisely there to confirm that the treatment is right for you.

Hair PRP starts at $350 per session, taxes extra. The recommended number of sessions, and therefore the total cost of your plan, is confirmed during the consultation based on your situation.
