PRP and Exosomes Together: What the Combination Changes for Your Hair
Combining PRP and exosomes in one hair protocol: what exosomes add, and our programs that bring both together.
What we see in clinic: hair exosome gains hold for roughly a year, then fade gently without maintenance.

The honest answer first: it is not permanent. What we see is a good window of a year to eighteen months where the hair is in better shape, then a gradual return if nothing is maintained. Details on the treatment are on the DC-Exo page.
One thing that matters: these markers apply after a full protocol, not after a single session.
The first 6 to 12 months: the effect is at its peak. Between 12 and 18 months: most of the benefit still holds. Beyond 18 months: without maintenance, it gradually declines.
In other words: what you gained does not evaporate at once, but the engine slows.
| Treatment | Duration of effects | Maintenance |
|---|---|---|
| Exosomes alone | 12 to 18 months | 1 session a year |
| PRP with exosomes | 12 to 18 months | 1 to 2 sessions a year |
| PRP alone | 12 to 18 months | 1 session a year |
We do not put daily medications in this table: their "duration of effect" is that of the last dose, which is precisely the problem. We do not point anyone toward minoxidil or finasteride here.

The work happens at depth. The signal placed restarts follicle regeneration and improves the surrounding terrain; it does not cover a problem, it acts on it.
That is the difference between correcting and masking, and it is why we talk in years rather than weeks.
One session every 12 to 18 months, adjusted to how you are doing.
Under 35: wider spacing is often possible, every 18 to 24 months. The approach is preventive.
Between 35 and 50: annual maintenance, with progression monitored.
Over 50: annual maintenance, sometimes a more sustained protocol.
In women, the first of these is often settled by bloodwork: iron, thyroid, hormones. That is step 1 of our path for women.
Between 12 and 15 months: the effect is still very present. Between 18 and 24 months: the decline is gradual, but the hair gained remains. After 24 months: you return gradually to the starting state, especially if the cause was never addressed.
Three things to keep in mind:

At 6 months: a first review of what is holding. At 12 months: the assessment that decides the first maintenance. At 18 months: we follow the natural course. At 24 months: we plan around what you want to do.
What we look at each time: comparative photos under the same conditions, a density assessment, your own sense of shedding and quality, and a scalp examination.
With exosomes alone: the initial protocol, then about four maintenance sessions.
With PRP and exosomes: the initial protocol, then four to eight sessions depending on your response.
Either way, the heavy spending is concentrated in the first year, then it drops and stabilizes. Prices are posted on every program page, taxes extra.
Anticipating costs one session; catching up costs several. It is the only real saving available here.
Can it be spaced out further? Depending on your profile, yes. But beyond two years there is not much left to maintain, and you are practically starting a full protocol again.
Is maintenance a whole protocol? No. One to two sessions is enough, against four at the start.
Do the effects accumulate? Maintenance holds the gain, and sometimes improves it a little. It does not erase genetics for all that.
Twelve to eighteen months of effect, then one session a year to keep it. That is little upkeep for a lot of peace of mind.
What we will not tell you is that it is yours forever. No hair treatment is, and anyone promising that is not talking about the same body.

PRP for hair reinjects your platelets’ growth factors to wake follicles that are still alive. Here is how it works, step by step.

The evidence on hair PRP is decent but variable. We explain honestly who it works on, and who it does not.
The best plan starts with an assessment. We look at your skin and answer your questions, no obligation.
