How Many Radiofrequency Sessions for the Face, and Why the Answer Varies So Much
One clinic says one session, another says eight. It isn't generosity: it's two families of devices, with two different logics.
You typed “best XERF clinic Laval”. You already know what you want: to firm the lower face and neck, with no surgery and no needle. What is left is choosing where, and at this point you want to know three things:
- Can this clinic get me the result I want?
- Is it really the best, or does it only say so?
- Can I trust it?

1. Can we get you the result you want?
XERF is a multifrequency monopolar radiofrequency by Cynosure Lutronic, authorized by Health Canada for skin tightening. According to the manufacturer, it heats several layers of the dermis at once, down to the supporting tissue: the collagen already there contracts, and the skin builds new collagen over the following months.
The device is the same from one clinic to the next. What decides the result is what happens before and during the session.
We look before we treat. XERF tightens skin that has loosened. It does not answer everything that changes in the lower face, so we read the oval, the jawline and the neck, we feel the area under the chin, and we tell you what we see. That assessment may conclude that XERF is not right for you: in that case, we do not do it.

We tell you the number of sessions before you pay. With us, XERF means two sessions about a month apart, then one maintenance session a year. A session lasts 90 min, full face and neck. The skin is tighter from the session itself, then the real gain builds over three to six months while collagen rebuilds. We tell you beforehand, so no one judges the result at two weeks.

2. Are we really the best?
A clinic that calls itself the best teaches you nothing. What counts is what others say. Here are four sources that do not come from us, from the most solid to the most changeable:

- A 5.0 rating on more than 700 Google reviews. The reviews are public, with their names: read them on our listing.
- What Google answers. Here is its AI Overview for the same search, on September 29, 2026 (a search made in French).
- What ChatGPT answers. Same question, same day, not signed in.
Try it yourself. These tools’ answers change from one day to the next and from one person to the next, and that is exactly why they are worth something: no one writes them for us.
3. Can you trust us?
Trust is judged on what you can check before you come. Here is what you can check with us:
- Who trained the team. Our founder, Sarah-Donia Cherif, a nurse, was a trainer at Cynosure Lutronic, the maker of XERF, while she was already running the clinic: the manufacturer sent her to show other clinics how to set up their machines.
- What the device does, and what the person sets. According to the manufacturer, XERF measures the skin’s resistance with every pulse and adapts the energy it delivers, while cooling protects the surface. The depth (three settings) and the intensity (ten levels) are chosen, zone by zone, based on your skin and what you feel.
- Who you will see. The team’s real names and real photos are online.
- A price written in advance. A XERF session costs $1,500, taxes extra, for the full face, up to under the eyes, and the neck. The neck is not an add-on. The décolleté, we do not offer yet.
- No discount on the session. Cynosure Lutronic sets a minimum price on the session, and we follow it to the letter. When we want to give you more, we add treatments around the session, never a discount on it.
- No downtime, no anesthesia. Slight redness at most, and you go back to your day. Radiofrequency targets no pigment: it suits every skin tone.

Is there any downtime?
