PRP and Exosomes Together: What the Combination Changes for Your Hair
Combining PRP and exosomes in one hair protocol: what exosomes add, and our programs that bring both together.
First signs around 3 to 4 weeks, real regrowth near 3 months, full effect over 6 to 12 months. An honest timeline.

"When will I see something?"
The impatience is normal: you are investing in a treatment and want to know when it pays off. Here is the timeline as we observe it. The treatment in detail is on the DC-Exo page.
One note up front: exosomes are not approved by Health Canada for hair regrowth, even though their use is common in clinics. What follows describes a typical progression, not a guarantee.
Phase 1, stabilization, 3 to 4 weeks
Phase 2, the wake-up, around 3 months
Phase 3, full effect, 6 to 12 months
When your profile allows combining the two, as in DC Prime or DC Bloom, the timeline tends to tighten: regrowth sometimes shows by two months, and full effect arrives between four and eight months.
The choice between the two routes depends on your age, the quality of your blood and the type of loss. It is not a budget question.
Hair grows about one centimetre a month. A new hair starts out very fine and thickens as it goes. It therefore needs three to five centimetres, meaning several months, before it counts in what you see.
Nothing and nobody speeds that up. It is the only reason patience is required, and it is a good one.

| Protocol | First signs | Visible regrowth | Full effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Exosomes alone | 3 to 4 weeks | 3 months | 6 to 12 months |
| PRP with exosomes | 3 to 4 weeks | 2 months | 4 to 8 months |
| PRP alone | 4 to 8 weeks | 3 to 6 months | 6 to 12 months |
And minoxidil? We do not recommend it, for a reason that fits in one sentence: the day you stop, shedding resumes, often harder. Once started, it is for life. Our angle is the opposite: bet on your own follicles, early, rather than on an endless daily routine.
Either way, we then recommend a maintenance session every 6 to 12 months.
For men, DC Prime runs in four steps: a full assessment, two close PRP sessions to reactivate the follicles still active, a PRP-with-exosomes session that amplifies the signal, then a final stabilizing session.
For women, DC Bloom has three sessions, preceded by a scalp assessment: in women, we first rule out a correctable cause, like low iron or a lagging thyroid.
These are not remedies: they are the conditions in which the treatment works best.

The biggest risk is not that the treatment fails. It is that you stop before the end of the protocol, out of impatience, right before the point where it shows.
That is exactly why we sell full protocols rather than single sessions: not to tie you down, but because a protocol cut off at the second session proves nothing and gives nothing.
If after eight weeks you see no drop in shedding, if the loss is getting worse, or if scalp irritation persists, do not wait for the next appointment: tell us.
Can I speed it up? No. Follicle biology has its own pace, and forcing gains nothing. Consistency, on the other hand, changes everything.
And if I see nothing at three months? It happens, and it is not necessarily a failure: some people respond later. We look at it together at the follow-up assessment rather than leaving you to guess.
Is the result permanent? No. Reactivated follicles keep producing, but the effect fades without maintenance. The subject is covered in our article on how long results last.
Three to four weeks for the first signs, three months for regrowth, six to twelve months for full effect. That is the pace of hair, not of the product.
What we can do is tell you where you stand at each stage, and warn you early if it is not responding.

PRP for hair reinjects your platelets’ growth factors to wake follicles that are still alive. Here is how it works, step by step.

The evidence on hair PRP is decent but variable. We explain honestly who it works on, and who it does not.
The best plan starts with an assessment. We look at your skin and answer your questions, no obligation.
Hi, I am Stella. Ask me about a treatment, a price or the clinic, and I will point you to the right place.
Stella answers from the site. She does not diagnose and does not book. The conversation stays 24 hours on this device, and the clinic keeps a copy.
