PRP and Exosomes Together: What the Combination Changes for Your Hair
Combining PRP and exosomes in one hair protocol: what exosomes add, and our programs that bring both together.
What a hair PRP session at Clinique DC actually looks like: before, during, after, in 30 to 45 minutes.

A hair PRP session takes 30 to 45 minutes and comes down to three steps: we draw a little blood, spin it to concentrate your platelets, then place it back into your scalp. The treatment in detail is on the PRP page.
Here is what awaits you, step by step.
Everything starts with a hair eligibility consultation with one of our nurses. She performs the procedure herself: PRP goes through a needle, so it is not within a medical esthetician's scope.
The scalp examination, with a dermatoscope, to assess:
A look at your profile: your family history, your habits, and what you expect from the treatment.
Checking contraindications, systematically: diabetes, clotting disorders, pregnancy, scalp inflammation.
The protocol, set according to your situation: the number of sessions and their spacing.
Allow about thirty minutes. It is the moment to ask every question, including the ones about price.
The step most people dread, and which disappoints by how ordinary it is.
The volume: 10 to 20 ml, the equivalent of routine lab work. The site: the crook of the elbow. The duration: two to three minutes. The sensation: a small prick, and that is all.
While you wait, your blood is transformed.
The process: the tubes spend 8 to 12 minutes in a medical centrifuge.
The separation: centrifugal force sorts the blood's components. Red cells, heavier, sink to the bottom; white cells settle in the middle; the platelet-rich plasma stays on top.
The result: a concentrate clearly richer in platelets than your blood in its natural state. That concentrate is what we place.
Preparation: the scalp is disinfected.
Comfort: numbing cream can be applied if you want it.
The technique: with a very fine needle, area by area, evenly, at the depth that reaches the follicle.
The sensation: light tingling, easily tolerated.
The duration: 10 to 15 minutes depending on the area treated.

30 to 45 minutes at the clinic:
There is no surgery, no sedation, no dressing. You leave as you arrived.
How it looks: a slightly pink scalp at the injection points. The redness clears in two to six hours.
What you feel: a slight tightness, sometimes light itching. That is normal.
What you can do: everything, right away. There is no recovery period.
Three to four sessions spaced three to six weeks apart, depending on the program: DC Bloom for women, DC Prime for men.
Then one to two maintenance sessions a year to hold the result.
After the first session: shedding slows, hair is shinier. After the second: the density gain is noticeable, texture changes. After the third and beyond: the result is at its best, with regrowth in the treated areas.
The hair cycle is counted in months, not weeks. Patience is not a virtue here, it is a biological constraint.

Nurses trained in regenerative medicine techniques, who perform the procedure themselves.
A medical centrifuge, because the concentration obtained depends directly on the device.
Follow-up, from one session to the next, with comparative photos.
And one thing rarely said in this field: we will not take you on if you are not a good candidate. A protocol sold to someone who will get nothing from it is a scheduled disappointment and a lost reputation.
The product comes from you: there is no rejection, no reaction to a foreign substance. Side effects stay mild:
The subject is covered in detail in our article on contraindications.
Thirty to forty-five minutes, a small prick in the arm, some tingling on the scalp, and you leave. That is all a hair PRP session amounts to.
What matters more is what happens before: the assessment that determines whether it is worth it in your case.

PRP for hair reinjects your platelets’ growth factors to wake follicles that are still alive. Here is how it works, step by step.

The evidence on hair PRP is decent but variable. We explain honestly who it works on, and who it does not.
The best plan starts with an assessment. We look at your skin and answer your questions, no obligation.
Hi, I am Stella. Ask me about a treatment, a price or the clinic, and I will point you to the right place.
Stella answers from the site. She does not diagnose and does not book. The conversation stays 24 hours on this device, and the clinic keeps a copy.
